Highway 407 Electronic Tolling Road (407ETR) has improved optical character recognition for their fully automated video-based toll collection. Over 1200 JAI PULNiX cameras are used on this open-road toll road. A recently installed LPR upgrade has produced the highest performance LPR ever achieved by any company.
The upgrade is based on a JAI PULNiX - Dacolian product combination that supplies very high performance for license plate recognition and reading, due to the synergy between the expertise areas from JAI PULNiX and Dacolian.
