Input Image

The input image used by the ALPR engine.

Potential plate areas

This element shows input image processing results. Potential plate areas are marked with yellow rectangles and areas in which vehicle registration plates are found are marked with a red rectangles.

Character Isolation

This interface element shows in three steps how plate characters are separated in a potential plate area.

Final Recognition Results

Here the original plate area in the input image, the read vehicle registration code, a result confidence (0 - 100) and the accompanying country code are shown.

Statistics

During the processing of multiple images the application collects data regarding processing time, confidence number and character height. These statistics are shown for all processed input images as well as for the current input image.

Process Information

The right side of the application shows information about the current process: input image directory, progress bars and control buttons.

The progress bars provide an overview of the ongoing recognition results when processing a directory. The three bars show the number of processed files, the number of accepted vehicle registration plates and the number of rejected images.

Using the control buttons you can start and stop the processing of input images. Also you can walk through a directory step-by-step, each time processing only a single image.
