INTRADA ALPR Settings Editor
With the INTRADA ALPR Settings dialog all available parameters in the INTRADA
ALPR library can be addressed and altered. This way you can completely remodel
the recognition engine and tune its performance to obtain optimal recognition
results.
In the settings dialog you will find eight different tabs that group related
setting parameters together. On this page, four of these tabs will be explained.
Overview
Overview
The overview tab shows the results of the selected preprocessing steps,
set in parameters of the other tabs. It also controls the output of the recognition
engine and shows the image size that is selected.
Area of Interest
Area of Interest
An area of interest is defined in the Area of Interest tab. There are two possible definitions
of the area of interest: by specifying a rectangle (the simple area of interest) or by excluding parts of
the image individually (complex area of interest).
Countries
Countries
Using the country tab you can select the countries that are to be considered during the recognition
process.
Character size
Character size
The character size tab defines the minimum and maximum size of the characters.
To provide a reference the word "DACOLIAN" is projected in each image at exactly
the minimum character height and the maximum height.
