Analyzation Process

To aid in evaluating each choice of settings, the IPA will create a performance comparison of the selected setting groups. Each set of changes to the default settings should be put in a settings file. The resulting set of files will be used by the IPA tool to let the ALPR evaluate (recognize) a given set of test images.

The results of these tests are exported to an output file. The output results can be imported in Microsoft Excel, which will automatically generate error-correct curves corresponding to each of the setting files.
