            <title>REG-SENTRY™ Derwent’s Intelligent ANPR Access Control</title>
            <link>http://www.dacolian.com/en/news/item/56/</link>
<description>Licence plate capture specialists, Derwent have developed a fully automated vehicle access control system which incorporates Intrada software developed by Dacolian.

A complete solution REG-SENTRY™ allows users to up or download number-plate data from any PC using the Sentry-Viewer software to create their own custom White/Black list of permitted/barred vehicles, this data can then be used to trigger a control barrier or gate. A three part system Derwent’s field proven REG™ cameras capture the licence plate of any approaching vehicle and sends that data to the REG-SENTRY™ control box which processes the information, compares it to the list and sends a signal to the access barrier to open or remain closed.
The Sentry Viewer C source code will be released to users for ease of integration into back office applications.
