Audax A-CAP® Mobile (ANPR / ALPR)
Plymouth based UK Company, Audax, have developed an Automatic Number Plate Recognition system utilising the Dacolian Intrada engine. Their system has been designed and developed in conjunction with serving ANPR/ALPR police officers and, most recently, has been exhibited and demonstrated at both IFSEC 2007 and ACPO-APA 2007 in the UK.
Adam Liardet, the Director for Audax said “Unlike competitor products, this technology allows us to recognise the various international licence plates and their varying fonts. This is a major advance on previous technology and coupled with the tried and tested Dacolian engine we look forward to a very successful partnership”
The system, which also uses progressive scan technology, has exceeded all expectations and is adaptable to continuously evolving technology as well as customer preferences
