Honeywell Digital Video Manager incorporates Dacolian’s INTRADA Honeywell Digital Video Manager incorporates Dacolian’s INTRADA

ANPR software from Dacolian has been added to Honeywell Digital Video Manager™ (HDVM) products. The Digital Video Manager enhances today’s video surveillance, security, access control and enterprise operations.

Intrada ALPR perfectly fitted into the software-based system architectures that utilises off-the-shelf hardware to deliver a non-proprietary digital video solution that protects a customer’s investment over time. Integration of license plate recognition software to HDVM products makes it possible to automatically register vehicle license plates, heightening security 24 hours a day, 365 days a year – and only for a fraction of the cost of human observation. Access control policies can also be conducted by the incorporation of ANPR in HDVM products. The ANPR addition is available as a controlled release for Europe.

Please contact Mr. Theo Spithoven from Honeywell Building Solutions for more details on the DVM products.

Mobile digital speed enforcement Mobile digital speed enforcement

The police "Gooi en Vechtstreek" in the Netherlands is the first to use new mobile digital speed enforcement equipment. The systems are the first in a large batch that will be used by different police departments throughout the Netherlands.

The systems operate without visible flash and immediately process the digital images on a laptop. Intrada ALPR is used to read the license plates from multiple countries, under different mobile conditions without requiring any site specific setup. The provided accuracy allows for the fully automated prosecution of violators.
