The AVACS system developed by TNO-FEL reduces the analysis time of videotape dramatically. Wanted persons and vehicles are detected automatically. The Intrada-ALPR recognition engine is included in this system to perform the automatic reading of vehicle registration plates.

Gatsometer BV uses the Intrada ALPR recognition engine on its Total Offence Processing Systeem (TOPS). The TOP System processes image data with varying camera angles and lighting conditions. It supports reading licence plates from multiple vehicles per image.
